The objective of this article is to explore the occupational health information of greenhouse farmers of Shouguang city, to analyze the risk factors related to health, and to provide foundation for effective intervention. Our methods:1018 farmers from 11 towns of Shouguang city were investigated by random sampling. Occupational injury in recent 12 months and related risk factors were examined. Single factor analysis and multifactor nonconditional Logistic regression analysis were applied on the data. Results: The incident ratio of occupational injury was 71.9%. Many factors, such as physiology condition, psychologic factor, social factor, and environment factor, were closely related to the occurrence of occupational injury. Multifactor study showed that health condition (OR=0.304, 95%CI=0.173~0.534), greenhouse temperature in summer (OR=0.875, 95%CI=0.792~0.966) and in winter (OR=1.245, 95%CI=1.124~1.379), humidity (OR=0.942, OR=0.942，95%CI=0.914~0.972) in summer, greenhouse width (OR=1.238, 95%CI=1.005~1.525), length (OR=1.021, 95%CI=1.003~1.040), area (OR=0.355, 95%CI=0.181~0.694), height (OR=0.808, 95%CI=0.673~0.969), and wall thickness (OR=0.995, 95%CI=0.991~0.998) were all related to the occurrence of injury. Conclusion  The occurrence of injury caused by greenhouse work was correlated to environmental factors. Effective measurements should be developed to reduce health-risk behaviors.
