Personal submission e.g. How would attendance at the safety 2010 conference help you to improve the prevention of injury and the promotion of safety in your locality?	I graduated from Medical College of Shantou University in this summer, and my major is injury prevention. During the three postgraduate years, I took part in several programs on injury. One of them is from National Natural Science Foundation of China, evaluation the quality of injury surveillance system. Several papers were published, one of them in Injury Prevention, Evaluation of an emergency department-based injury surveillance project in China using WHO guidelines, others were Chinese papers. I have trained by USA-China Agriculture program from NIH, and got the professional training about injury research. My abstract was accepted by the 9th World Conference on Injury Prevention & Safety Promotion. I had taken part in the second Asia-Pacific Injury Prevention Conference in Hanoi, Vietnam, and gave an oral presentation about motorcycle-related injuries. These program and conference improved my eye reach of injury prevention, which made me more interested in this major, and wanted to do some work. Injury has been a big problem in China, especially in southern area. We can do a lot of work for injury prevention. I think the conference is an opportunity to improve the injury prevention in our area. On the conference, we can communicate with all kinds of researchers, to identify our weakness, and to find cooperate opportunity, finally to reduce injuries in our area
