I did PhD in Poly Trauma in Rural India from University of Pune, India after 10 yrs of research. I am presently active member in Bone&Joint; Decade:NAN-India.I know I will be benefited by as Safety 2010 is a major world conference bringing stakeholders in the prevention of unintentional injuries and violence from around the world to debate, discuss and exchange information and experiences. In India also now a days Terrorist activities are increasing and I am keen to be involved in Violence and Injury Prevention in India.The conference will cover many topics like.. Burns, drowning and falls, Occupational safety, Road safety, Sport and leisure related injury, Youth violence, Child and elder abuse, Children and older people injuries, Intimate partner abuse and sexual violence, Self-harm and suicide, Patient safety, Safe communities, Consumer safety and very important Disaster management and terrorism all are useful as I am an Orthopedic Surgeon In Trust Hospital In Rural part of India. Even given a chance I can talk on Rural Poly trauma for 10-30 minutes.I ac send u powerpoint presentation also.I know that Though All injuries can't be prevented 'Accidents' and Injuries are not Acts of GOD" There is no difference between injury and disease. "LIFE saved is a FAMILY Saved" Always Remember 'GET THE RIGHT PATIENT TO THE RIGHT HOSPITAL AND IN RIGHT TIME' Now this is how actively I am involved with Trauma, Road Safety, prevention of violence in my loving country India.
