Personal submission e.g. How would attendance at the safety 2010 conference help you to improve the prevention of injury and the promotion of safety in your locality?	Assessing injury and finding out causes and precipitants behind them is a tough task. Even though this can be done with a multi disciplinary approach, implementing preventive measures that to in developing countries like that of mine is very difficult as major population here are least aware of safety measures, aware but do not use them or simply they can be branded as illiterates about health and safety. These individuals can be educated and hence injury can be prevented only if some colourful, effective and attractive methods of education and implementation are done. For this there is a need to know more and in depth and if possible, everything about injury & prevention. I am looking forward for this conference, where I hope, can meet scholars from various parts of the world, where we can exchange and share the prevailing burdens, methods available to curb them, laws under effect in those areas, any newer methodology of assessing and preventing injuries. Apart from this since I am being mentored under the WHO mentoring programme, I might get a chance to meet my mentor so that my mentoring project becomes a great success.
