Personal submission e.g. How would attendance at the safety 2010 conference help you to improve the prevention of injury and the promotion of safety in your locality?	safety is without doubt the most crucial investment we can make, the question is not what is costs us, but what it saves. Safety is not the absence of incidents, but the reduction of risk. I strongly believe that all accidents are preventable if proper safety precautions are applied. Driven by these philosophy,i have at different level and time educate people in my field of work and locality,the importance of safety observation and management to the best of my knowledge. Education has no end,and the more you travel for conferences and seminars, the more you learn and improve on your former knowledge. I strongly believe that my attendance to 2010 safety conference will offer me the opportunity to learn more of the contemporary safety application techniques and policies which i shall in turn transfer to my co-workers upon returning. By so doing, safety consciousness and practice will be inculcated to their minds,making it a virtue, thus ,saving thousands of lives that would have gone for injuries and safety negligence. My attendance to the conference shall inject a sound safety policy that will be part of daily living of the workers in my locality with ease. They shall no longer see safety practices as office/field practice only but equally a home practice thereby extending it to their wards/children,thus making my locality a safety conscious one in no distant time.
